At Benchmark Angus we are the first privately owned pure bred operation in the country to have a GrowSafe System. This allows us to determine the feed efficiency of an animal. If a bull converts at 7/1, 7 pounds of feed to 1 pound of gain he will not increase the efficiency of his calves, therefore not reduce the bottom line in expenses.
